Engagements and quotes

Every engagement starts with a quote describing scope, price and timeline. The engagement is confirmed in writing by both parties before work begins.

Payment

Fixed-price engagements are normally invoiced 50% at the start and the remaining 50% at delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Ongoing engagements are invoiced monthly in arrears.

Ownership

Ownership of delivered code, design and content transfers to the client once the final invoice has been paid in full.

Changes during the engagement

Changes outside the original quote are quoted separately before work begins, so you always know what a change costs before approving it.

Limitation of liability

Devise IT's liability for any errors is limited to the amount invoiced for the engagement in question.

Termination of ongoing agreements

Ongoing maintenance and support agreements run monthly and can be terminated by either party with one month's notice.
